This is more complex than Rescue. We'll use this when Rescue doesn't
work.
If you are setting up a client to be accessed by another computer:
1. Use Internet Explorer and browse to www.logmein.com.
2. Login (at the very top of the screen) with user CUG@...................... and the password
3. A screen called " My Computers " comes up
In the " Product " pulldown menu, select " free "
Click on the word ( NOT icon ) " + Add Computer " above the red arrow
Next screen selects a product. Put a dot in the " FREE " choice & CONTINUE
The LogMeIn software now downloads.
A small " LogMeIn " window appears Click on " Next " and
" I Agree " to the Terms and Conditions
Accept " Typical (recommended) " for the location, and hit NEXT
Enter as the Computer Description your name and phone number: NEXT
On the Computer Access Code window,
make the Username " laposada " (without the quotes!)
make the Computer Access Code " laposadagv " (w/o the quotes)
Accept the default Destination Location NEXT
Install now takes place (with advancing blue bars).
After the install is complete, the " Setup Completed " screen appears. You are
warned that there may be a delay before the computer is recognized. Click on FINISH
A black terminal screen appears, and goes away, and then "My Computers" again
A yellow bar toward the top says the computer was successfully added
A yellow box at lower right says that LogMeIn is active and online
There should be an icon at right end of lower task bar. If you hover the cursor
over it the small type should says "LogMeIn -- Enabled and Online"
Click FINISH
Exit LogMeIn by logging out.
Log in again, using e-mail =CUG@......................... and the P/W
The " My Computers " screen should show the computer you added above (as well as other any computers which have
been added. If not, the "free" group in the " Product " dropdown might work better.
4. To log into the computer just set up above from another computer you must know the account name and Computer
Access Code which you specified above. So make a note of these and have them available when remote access
is desired.

If you want to access client(s):

next email by itself
c. Select one of the computers listed by clicking its name.
d. If it is avaiable you will get a login screen for the comptuer - use
the name and password per 4. above.
e. You should get a window stating "Connected to computer_name"
f. In the Remote Control box click the box "Open remote control in a new
window" and click Go>>
g. This along with the default settings should give you access to the
computer.
h. When done click the upper right corner's X box (not visible in full
screen) to close the remote control window
i. In the "Connected to..." window (e.) click the disconnect circled red
X in the left margin
j. In the LogMeIn window (c.) click the Logout button towards top right
LogMeIn can be disabled on a client computer by r.clicking the LogMeIn
